The Third Academic Event Professional Conference, AEP 2009, will take place alongside The Special Event Show in San Diego on Monday January 26, 2009. University of California San Diego, in the spectacular setting of La Jolla, will kindly host the conference.
Academic Event Professional is a forum where you can meet and learn from your academic planning peers and event industry leaders to help develop professional event management and development skills. The conference is invaluable to both experienced planners in development, alumni relations, marketing and fundraising through sharing of best practices, and to newcomers to the industry in learning from the experience of other campus planners.
Academic Event Professional has recently been nominated for two ISES ESPRIT Awards, recognizing the mission and commitment to Professional Development for campus planners. The award nominations, for Best Industry Innovation and Best Industry Contribution, will be held in Florida in August 08.
